キャラバン(E25)をタカラ塗料の水性で全塗装しました。

キャラバンをタカラ塗料さんの水性塗料、イーグルブルーグレーとマットブラックで全塗装です。

まずは車体から外せるものは外します。

元々がクリア剥げが酷い車両だったのと猛暑で、下地つくりが大変でした・・・。

途中までしこしこと手作業でやっていたのですが、車体がでかくて大変。
猛暑に気持ちが折れ、途中から電動ダブルアクション(電動ヤスリ?)を導入して古いクリアを剥がしました。
手作業からみるとダブルアクションはガンガン進みます。勢い余って削りすぎて地金が出てしまうところも・・・。

下地作りの目処が付いたらマスキングです。

最後は電動スプレーガンで塗りました。

下地作りの大変さを振り返ると、塗装はあっという間ですね。
塗料にはバランサーを多めに入れて作業したのですが、気温が高すぎて難しかった。
塗料が途中で固まってしまい、糸のようになったり…(汗)

まあ近くでまじまじと見なければ大丈夫かな。

手前のアクティも涼しくなったら塗る予定です。

The paint hardened in the middle and became thread-like… (sweat)

Well, if you don’t look too closely and seriously, I guess it will be OK.

I plan to paint the acti in the foreground when it cools down.
