蜜蜂が減っているな、元気が無いなと感じていました。
ここ数日はすっかり蜜蜂の姿を見かけなくなってしまいました。
様子を見るために巣箱を開けてみましたが、もう蜜蜂はいなくなってしまっていました。
死滅あるいは逃去のいずれかだと思われます。
周囲では桜も咲きだし、春の入り口なのに空になってしまった巣箱が寂しい。
子育てが始まる季節だと思うのですが、幼虫や蛹はまったくいませんでした。
スムシにやられていたとかもなく、逃去でしょうか。
寂しがっていても仕方ないので空き家になった巣箱を整理します。
蜜はあるのか調べてみましたが、そこそこ残っていました。
せっかくですので採蜜していただいてみました。
ふんわりと花の香りがしておいしい。

I have been feeling that the bees have been decreasing and that they are not healthy.
In the past few days, I had not seen any bees at all.
I opened the hive to see what was going on, but the bees were already gone.

Cherry blossoms are blooming around us, and even though we are on the threshold of spring, I am sad to see the hive empty.
I think it is the season for brood rearing, but there were no larvae or pupae at all.
There was no sign that they had been attacked by smutsi or anything, so they must have escaped.
It is no use to be lonely, so I will organize the empty hive.
I checked to see if there was any nectar in the hive, and found that there was some.
I took the opportunity to collect some nectar from the hive.
It was delicious, with a soft floral aroma.
It was the first honey from Japanese honeybees I had ever collected in my beekeeping life.
Thank you very much for the short time we spent together.
I will clean the hive and reinstall it. I hope they will move in again.
